INTRODUCTION
My name is Teri Crawford and my brother, Bob, Jr. was a victim of the Tri-State Crematory tragedy. My family, along with thousands of others, were devastated by the gruesome discovery that our loved ones bodies were desecrated instead of cremated.
I resigned from my position as Regional Director of Amedisys Home Health, to work on contract with the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) as the DNA Coordinator/family advocate in hopes of discovering what happened to my brother's remains.

Legal Deception is a true story that draws on observations I made while working as the DNA Coordinator. Information was also obtained from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) investigative files. The facts stem from my memory, conversations, and more importantly, from a multitude of court documents.
I used actual transcripts from Tennessee and Georgia legal proceedings but cut redundant or unimportant information. The transcripts in their entirety can be viewed at http://www.pacer.gov. Some documents will be made available on my Web site for review. What happened in this case is unbelievable and gives the American public a birds eye view of what people in power can do.
